Judith Ward conducting

Judith Ward

Based in Oxfordshire Judith conducts and sings in a number of choirs. Her choral pieces have been performed in the UK and across the globe. Find out more about her latest projects and sample compositions.

Written with performers in mind, Judith’s music encompasses works for both professional and amateur musicians. Her choral music has been described as “inspiring and accessible” and music with “depth, emotion and complexity, but with the minimum of difficulty to sing.” Instrumental works range from educational music to pieces for organ and various ensembles.

Working mainly with choirs, Judith uses her experience in education and high-level choral singing to set high expectations in a supportive environment. She enjoys working with groups on a regular basis but also loves the challenge of more intensive workshops and residencies.

Judith inspires people to reach their potential and discover the joy in music through her passion for the subject. She has taught in schools, taught PGCE music teachers, helped develop an exam syllabus and written exam handbooks.
